Accomodation and catering

If you want to stay in the bucolic setting of the surrounding countryside, the Auberge-restaurant La Mara offers several accommodation options as well as gourmet meals. To combine culture and the outdoors, we invite you to pitch your tent or rent a rustic cottage at the Mont-Ham or on the edge of the picturesque Lac à la Truite at the Camping du Mont Ham-Sud or facing the river at the Camping de la Rivière Nicolet.

Note that all these establishments offer a 10% discount on the night if you show them a proof of ticket purchase from the Masq’alors! Festival.

In addition, a dorm is available at a very affordable price for small groups at La Meunerie de Saint-Adrien and at Masq’alors! we have some places to pitch your tent on reservation (contact us).

Enjoy a meal of crepes or paninis at the Café du flâneur in a warm atmosphere. You will also find nearby the Gilles Fortin canteen and the Sonia grocery store offering a small choice of ready-to-eat meals.

Festival’s headquarters

The festival’s reception, the information counter, the ticket office and the resto-bar are located at the P’tit Bonheur de Saint-Camille, 162 rue Miquelon, which is the former general store in the heart of the village.

Our village

Identified as a “village of the Gauls” by the “Monde Diplomatique”, the small hamlet of Saint-Camille in the Eastern Townships (Quebec) is noted for the dynamism it has developed over the past twenty years, its originality and undaunted efforts to reverse the trend of a continuing exodus from the rural communities.  Saint-Camille’s cultural and community centre known as Le P’tit Bonheur not only serves as a warm and inviting meeting place for everyone, but also has earned itself a reputation as a venue of choice amongst the professional art galleries and performance spaces throughout Quebec.  Artists, scientists and the like-wise curious come again and again, for one day or to stay, discovering the various social, cultural and residential projects which have been put in place by this unique community.

It is here that we welcome you to the warmth of our homes, the refreshing intimateness portrayed by our life-sized stage, and the rich diversity of the surrounding countryside.
