This performance is part of the new segment of the festival called Masq’àParis! There will be joint activities online between Saint-Camille and two venues in Paris, the Centre Mandapa and Le Mouffetard théâtre des arts de la marionnette.
In the 15th Century, mysterious characters began to appear in the streets of Italy, masked, funny, provocative, subversive. It was the birth of Commedia Dell’Arte. Robin Summa will bring to life the rich tradition of Italian comedy then and now, accompanied by Anna Cottis on-stage at the Mandapa Centre in Paris, and by Stéphanie Lamarre and Alex-Ann Boucher in St-Camille, who will bring those masks to life.
In partnership with the Centre Mandapa (Paris)
