On-site onlyMidway through their theatre studies programme at College Lionel-Groulx, student actors have been exploring a variety of types of theatre and masks during their second year under the tutelage of Joanne Benoit. Working with Italian and Balinese masks, and transforming themselves through respiration, movement, and speech techniques, the students will animate the characters and stories of Karl Valentine. We will present a collage of scenes taken from the repertoire of this Munich artist, as well as from the French clown and juggler Raymond Devos.
