American Indian masks, carnival masks, wrestlers masks… the universe of the mask in Latin America is so rich and varied that we are witnesses to their diverse and often misunderstood social and cultural applications. Imagine being in front of a mask that is full of Amazonian feathers or the violently colored fighting masks of the Lucha; where these characters are elevated to national hero status.
