The workshop « Strange Stranger » is offering you the chance to work creatively from within yourself and your unknown internal being. From the inside towards the outside. Feeling the mask coming alive and sharing its’ creative adventure. From surging feelings, emotions, meanings… to the creative act, confessing to ourselves without giving oneself away. Mask as a film screen or second skin ? Open the door to this stranger from within, inviting him to break away, to startle us.

« Before there was language, there was the body, and in this body, a story of memories. » (Bernard Noël)

This workshop focuses on active creation and expressive participation. As everything is recorded by our bodies… awakening excercises in corporal movement will catalyse the awakening of the « stranger within » and the creation of its’ mask. The body, in this movement through space is a calling to the inner-self, the other « you » (the mask to be born). This inner-sensivity is heightened by the interaction with the other participants, by music, emotional and energetic fluxuations. From these exchanges a heightened state of being will be evoked, creating a collection of personal body languages.
